Fitness Classes

Hot Yoga
Hot Yoga is performed in a room heated to 105 degrees. This 90 minute program systematically works the entire body, incorporating strength, balance and flexibility. Please bring a yoga mat, towel and water.

Body Pump
A rapid fat-burning class that uses barbells to give you the fastest way to tone and condition muscle. After an exhaustive study, Body Pump was verified by the University of Aukland as providing the fasted body fat loss of any fitness class/ New launch every quarter. We are the only club on the Peninsula to offer this class.

Body Combat
Body Combat combines moves and stances developed from a range of self-defense disciplines such as karate, boxing, Tai Chi and kick boxing. It is a fiercely energetic experience taught in a safe and simplistic manner. Designed to fight and kick calories, it is a great cardiovascular workout, that's all out fun.

Combat Technique
30 minute technique class prior to Body Combat. Learn the correct way to jab, cross and kick.

Warm Yoga
Blend of lyengar and Forrest Yoga with a variety of supportive passive stretches using the wall and floor as supports. Focusing on breathing.

Hatha Yoga
Advanced Yoga concentrating on alignment, standing postures, sun salutations, backbends and inversions. This is a 90 minute class.

Power Pace
Take the ride of your life on our state-of-the-art Keiser Pace Bikes. For all levels of enthusiastic bike riders.

Mat Pilates
Mat class that emphasizes controlled movement, core strengthening, flexibility and spinal stabilization.

Aqua
A low impact aerobic and resistance class in the outdoor heated pool. Water socks are highly recommended.

Mind & Body Center Etiquette
Arrive to class a few minutes early. Sometimes important instruction, information or announcements are made, so you don’t want to miss out! The door will be locked when class starts.

For your own safety, wear proper athletic footwear in class. Bare or sock-covered feet are only acceptable in Yoga and Pilates class.
